Why hire a color consultant?
Whether you are repainting your home to sell, are just starting off on your vibrant journey, or are already adept in expressing your true colors, I can help you choose the right hues for your home in the Greater Knoxville, Tennessee area.
I'm just getting started.
Now is the perfect time to speak with a color consultant! By taking into account your style and your current furnishings and fixtures along with the feelings, emotions and energy you’d like to convey, I can help you determine which colors are best for your space, both inside and out.
I already know what colors I want.
Wonderful! Now that you have a general idea of what you want, a color consultant can help you avoid a costly mistake by helping you choose the perfect hue of that color the first time. I will consider a number of factors — including colors and undertones in your current or planned fixtures and furnishings, your home’s lighting, your style and desired outcome — to help you pinpoint the exact shade of the color you’re considering.
I prefer neutral colors.
That’s okay! Oddly enough, “neutral” colors can be even more difficult to match properly. You may not notice their undertones until it’s too late. You might even finish the entire project before realizing your new color clashes with your flooring, trim, cabinets, decor and/or furniture. Even neutral colors will likely have undertones ranging from yellow or blue to even pink or purple.
